Greetings from the Mayor:
Located in the heart of the Eastern Shore, our “Jubilee City” has grown from the city’s incorporation in 1927 to being the largest city in Baldwin County today. I am honored to lead this great city in my role as Mayor and enjoy working alongside the City Council to expand on our vision of making Daphne the greatest place to live, work and play.
Daphne is a family-oriented community and a special place to live and visit with endless opportunities to relish the outdoors. The City boasts 13 parks for people of all ages and interests to enjoy; from the historic Village Point Park where people can bird watch and soak in the natural beauty of the area to our numerous bay front access points and fishing piers, there is something for everyone.
The recent completion of the Daphne Sports Complex with state-of-the-art baseball and softball facilities makes Daphne a popular sports tourism destination drawing people from all over the southeast. The newly constructed tennis and pickleball complex at Lott Park, nestled in the heart of downtown Daphne, is also a popular spot for sports enthusiasts.
