Every year, the Oak Grove Tourism Commission plans, organizes, and executes several award-winning festivals in their very own Oak Grove War Memorial Walking Trail Park in Oak Grove, Kentucky. These festivals are all family and budget friendly. Oak Grove Tourism also takes pride in making these events as inclusive as possible. They make sure that most activities are along a concrete path for easy accessibility. In addition, they provide ADA portable bathrooms and the playground on site is equipped with inclusive features and activities.

Memorial Day Weekend, the largest festival in the county, “Spring into Summer Festival Salutes Fort Campbell.” takes place. Though it is a festival to support our troops, it is also open to the general public. It is a way to thank not only our military and their families but all of our surrounding communities for their continuous support. Approximately 40,000 people come from all over the country to enjoy the free festivities including a free concert on Saturday evening. The concert features big-name country artists such as: Dylan Scott, Josh Turner, Chris Janson & Rodney Atkins.

To kick off the Saturday concert, the FasTrax veteran parachute jumpers display their abilities to the sound of the National Anthem. The concert begins shortly after the parachute jumpers have landed and concludes with a beautiful fireworks display. However, if concerts are not your thing, there are many other free activities throughout the weekend to enjoy including carnival rides, train rides, stage shows and more.

Oak Grove Tourism’s newest festival, Kentucky Bands, Bourbon & Wine Festival is only in its second year and has already won a State-level award. This amazing festival will also be held annually in July. Over 20 different beverage vendors will be on site for taste-testing and purchases. Food trucks of all varieties will also be here to satisfy your food cravings.  Bring your lawn chair and lounge in front of the concert stage where bands will be playing all day!
