Whether you’re into bourbon and bluegrass, carnival rides or craft fairs, Lawrenceburg throws a celebration that feels both timeless and totally unexpected. Here’s how to catch the vibe:

Kick Off With Chrome and Chickens
From April through October, downtown Lawrenceburg buzzes with two recurring favorites. The Wheels of Time Classic Car Cruise-In takes over every second Friday night with as many as 250 vintage rides, plus late-night eats and shopping. And on the first and third Saturdays of each month, the Lawrenceburg Chicken Swap draws crowds from across the state—because where else can you haggle over exotic hens, rabbits, and handmade soap in the same morning?

Summer Eats and Sweet Sounds
June through August, Food Truck Fridays and the Summer Concert Series turn Century Bank Park into a feast-and-festival zone. Think lawn chairs, live music, and whatever food you’re craving on wheels. Then, from June 14–21, the Lawrenceburg Fair & Horse Show brings classic fair magic with pig races, pageants, carnival rides, and a deep-rooted sense of Kentucky tradition—it’s been going strong for over 150 years.

A Legendary Fall Lineup
When September hits, it’s full steam ahead. Stave Fest returns to downtown September 12–13 with live music, a car show, artisan goods, and all the cozy, bourbon-infused fall vibes. The following weekend, it’s double the fun: the Wildfolk Music Fest (Sept. 20–21) brings Americana, rockabilly, and bluegrass acts together for a laid-back, family-friendly weekend—while elite athletes gather for the Wildman Triathlon, a high-adventure USA Triathlon National Championship race set against Lawrenceburg’s scenic backdrop.

In October, you’ll smell burgoo before you even see the tents. The Anderson County Burgoo Festival (Oct. 17–19) is a tribute to Kentucky’s most iconic stew, with tastings, crafts, rides, and live entertainment. And if you’re into songwriting and stargazing, don’t miss Boots and Bourbon, a Nashville-style night of music and bourbon storytelling under the open sky at the Della Mae.

One Last Leap (Literally)
For the adventure chasers, Vertigo Bungee runs May through October, offering one of the only permanent bridge bungee jumps in the country. Leap from Young’s High Bridge, right over the Kentucky River, and leave with a legendary story to tell.
