The WWII Georgia Heritage Trail offers a journey through the state’s contributions to one of the most pivotal chapters in world history. CAF Airbase Georgia in Peachtree City is just one of ten stops along this historical journey.  The Airbase is home to a Fairchild PT-19A, with a documented history of training the famed Tuskegee Airmen and is the only one in existence that still flies. Not only that, but they also house a Douglas SBD-5 Dauntless, which is said to be one of five left in the world that is still airborne.  To make this an even more unforgettable road trip experience, Airbase Georgia offers the opportunity to rent a flight on one of their WWII-era aircraft!
